Your Wedding Blush is a tricky item to purchase when shopping for wedding makeup. It completely depends on your skin tone, shade, preference between powder and cream, and so many more factors.
However, the semi-annual Sephora Sale is the perfect time to try out some fan-favorites. We’ve put together a list of our favorite wedding blush brands so you can try them out!
Patrick Ta Major Beauty Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush Duo
The first, and arguably most notable pick is the Patrick Ta Major Beauty Headlines Double-Take Creme & Powder Blush Duo. Not only does this blush come in many beautiful shades, but the packaging is stunning as well.
Being a famous makeup artist, Patrick Ta knows the correct formulas for his makeup so this blends seamlessly. My favorite shade is the “She’s Flushed” shade, but any shade you choose will look fabulous.
The mix of powder and cream is perfect for any last minute touch ups right before you walk down the aisle. I would recommend purchasing the accompanying Dual Ended Blush Brush from Patrick Ta, however, not a necessity.
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush
Another viral choice, the Soft Pinch Liquid Blush from Rare Beauty is an affordable and pigmented option. As a pigmented blush fan, this is a great option, however, for people who like a more understated look, you may want to choose another wedding blush.
This blush definitely blends well, however, some people do report that it fades from the skin rather quickly. Personally, I have never felt that way, but I love to reapply my blush right before I have things to do.
I’ve found that using a beauty blender makes the blush slightly more understated as the blender absorbs some of the product. However, using a blush brush may have the same effect.
Saie Beauty Dew Liquid Cheek Blush
A personal favorite choice of mine, the Saie Dew Liquid Cheek Blush, is my everyday staple. Coming in various shades, this choice is literally perfection on every single person I’ve seen it on.
The formula of this blush is immaculate, however, my only gripe is that the bottle seems to be run through quickly. This shouldn’t be a problem given that you would only use it on your wedding day, however, purchasing another bottle prior to your makeup trial may be needed.
This blush can be blended with either a beauty blender or a brush and it comes out beautifully either way.
Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Blush
This Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Blush is a more high-end version of the Rare Beauty Blush. I find that the formula is very similar, however, the Armani choice is slightly more elevated.
Many people say that this blush has a dewy finish, and I find the same. However, I would always choose to add more highlight on top of this blush.
While the formula is wonderful, I would choose to blend this with my fingers so very little pigment gets picked up. The shades of this blush are so beautiful that you don’t want to take any away.
Hourglass Mini Ambient Lighting Blush
Another personal favorite, and one that I use everyday, the Hourglass Mini Ambient Lighting Blush in the shade Luminous Flush is spectacular. One thing that I have found with Hourglass is that the mini versions of their products will last you just as long as the large sizes.
This blush adds a sparkle to the cheek so it would be perfect to layer over a more pigmented blush to get another pop of color & shine.
This is another product that has outstanding packaging and can even be used in stills of your wedding day!
NudeStix Nudies Matte Blush Stick
For all of my girlies who LOVE a stick blush – we couldn’t forget about you! This NudeStix Nudies Matte Blush Stick is an essential for so many women’s wedding blush.
There are so many shades to choose from, which makes it the perfect blush for so many women. While the packaging isn’t the most beautiful, it is definitely the most functional.
Boasting a dual-ended stick with a brush at one end, this blush is perfect for those who don’t want to have to purchase a blush brush as well.
