Over the years, having the best wedding flowers has become increasingly more difficult. Well, look no further. This is going to be your comprehensive Wedding Flower Inspiration!
From floral arches to statement pieces at the altar, this guide will show you some of the most beautiful arrangements that you can use during your wedding day!
With that being said, let’s jump right into it!
While you could use any types of flowers that strike your fancy, the creams and whites have always had a very special place in my heart. I absolutely love the way that the roses blend with the smaller greenery.
When designing (or consulting with a florist) for a tabletop arrangement, it’s best that you pick 2-3 statement flowers and a few others that blend in and fill space. For this specific arrangement, Roses and Camellias are used as the statement flower while some smaller and not yet budded roses and other greenery are used to fill space.
Brides and bridesmaids bouquets are slightly more open to adaptation depending on your budget. I’ve seen plenty of bridesmaids have smaller versions of the bride’s bouquets, but I’ve also seen more unique takes on the situation as well. One of my personal favorites is when the bridesmaids all have a different floral bouquet composed of one of the bride’s bouquet’s flowers.
This arrangement shown above, has some of the most beautiful (and expensive) flowers. The large white statement flower is called a Calla Lily, and it can be incredibly expensive to get those out of season. However, they do pair beautifully with the blush colored rose.
With one of the most picturesque backgrounds possible, this floral arch over the altar truly captured my attention. The color-coordinated ribbon tying into the flowers surrounding it makes this piece one that’s hard to forget. The statement pieces are blush colored roses and white hydrangeas with some baby’s breath and greenery added for fillers.
What makes this piece truly special is the matching arrangements down the aisle as well. Personally, I love the way that the shades of green match the natural landscape, which is something to think about if you want all of the pictures to look cohesive.
While slightly out there on the color choices, I absolutely love combining flower arrangements and food. I think it’s a beautiful way to make the food look even more beautiful than it already is and get some photo opportunities.
In this example, the roses are beige, blush, and mint green while the poppy is also blush, to match. What I love about this piece is that they’ve combined some non-traditional floral pieces into the mix such as eucalyptus and purple astilbe.
